Hello FRIDAY!

It's about time!
I love Fridays! Not really sure why. Maybe it is because it is the one night we order out, and I don't feel guilty! As a SAHM on a very tight budget, eating out doesn't happen here much. I am always cooking. Sometimes we do eat out another night, but I always feel so guilty! Like, that $20 could of went to bills. It is so frustrating!

M has a field trip today. They are going to a farm. Her teacher was basically pleading with me to come. I feel really bad, and I had to say no. First of all, the trip is during T's naptime (which is now). And second, the weather is not really cooperating today. And third, who wants to drag two extra kidlets along? Certainly not me. So D saved the day and went with her. His work was really slow, so he was able to leave and go. Of course, she was absolutely THRILLED to have him go.

The kids don't get to see much of D, as he works 2 jobs. It is really a big PITA, but it allows me to stay home and allows us to actually make ends meet. For once. Our medical bills are really starting to pile up, thanks to T's surgery in February. But I digress.....

The crazy-coked-out transcript lady from IPFW finally called back. (I really don't know if she is coked out or not, but she sure sounds that way!) I have been calling her for three weeks now! I really need to get copies of my transcripts sent to the colleges I am applying to. She acted like I had totally called the wrong number, as I am not a current student there. (duh) I calmly explained to her that this was the number I was given. If it was not the right one, would she kindly give me the right one? After much much more explaining, she told me I have to send $4 for each transcript I need sent, plus the form, which I can find online.

I certainly do not remember applying to college before being this frustrating! Maybe it is because I really didn't care.....oh well. I care now and that is all that matters.

I did get some great news a few minutes ago! Ivy Tech did accept me! IPEEEEEEEE! Of course, they are a community college and accept anyone, lol. But who cares! I GOT ACCEPTED! Now it isn't my first choice, but if the other two colleges don't accept me, I can attend Ivy and take my basic courses for a year. Then re-apply next year and still get back into the nursing program without missing any time. It is actually what I should do, as my scores from IPFW are pretty much down the drain.
