It was a really long weekend....

(this was typed up on Sunday)

Probably the longest of my life. I am so tired. I could literally fall asleep right here.

Friday, we went to Hilger's Farm Market for Liv's field trip. It was great fun and I got some neat pics. Came home and did some work, did laundry and had to pack up the kids for a weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's. After the kids left, I was off to work. Ended up working till midnight. But stayed up till 2am.

Got up Saturday at 6:45, as I was working the VERA BRADLEY FALL OUTLET SALE!!!!!!!!! I have the ins with a good pal, and she hooked me up. Worked the sale 9-2. Shopped the sale from 2-3 with Michele, Christa, Beth, Karen and Stephanie. Came home and crashed. Not for long as I had to work....again. Went off to do more ad change about 5:30. This time I only worked till 8. Got myself some supper and came home. Ended up staying up till 2am AGAIN. (I need to stop doing this!)

Got up today at 7, as I was working the VERA SALE again! Today was a madhouse up there. And it was totally fun! I didn't sit down all day. Literally! I sat on the drive up (8:05-8:45), sat for 15 mins for lunch, then didn't sit again till the drive home. oh my goodness my feet hurt. bad! My tennis shoes SUCK! I would of been better wearing my crocs.

Best parts of the day? First getting some really good deals, as we were allowed to shop before the sale opened to the public.

Second, seeing Carla. I used to work with her at the dialysis center. I haven't seen her in at least 5 years. I was so happy to have just a few minutes to chat with her. She named her daughter Madison...!!! And she is absolutely adorable too.

Third, and probably the best... was seeing Sara. Sara and I met our freshman year in college. We took a math class together. We became instant friends. We had kept in contact on and off, she even came to my wedding. But things got crazy for the both of us, and we lost touch. In 2001, we met up again. Then lost each other again. Haven't seen her since. But seeing her today, I was so excited! She is such a wonderful person and I love having her as a friend. I have missed her terribly and cannot wait to reconnect. I have her email and phone #, and we are NOT losing contact again! I MEAN IT!
